Rossa Kim

I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Design at Carnegie Mellon University. Recently,
I worked at Microsoft in Bellevue, WA, as a UX Design Intern.

Previously, I started as a painter and graduated as a graphic designer from San Francisco Art Institute. I worked at a museum to mentor high school artists, a design agency as a graphic designer and NGO in South Africa which inspired me to design that is developed with the intention of improving people’s lives.

Because of my experiences, I've learned to bring empathy at every stage of the design process, and I believe this empathy is paramount to achieving solutions that work. I like to advocate that design is not about pixel perfect, but about caring people's needs, behaviors and environments.

I’d love to hear from you!
