Opus Description

Opus: Adaptive Storytelling

Sarah-Marie Foley

Opus is an adaptive storytelling platform that consists of an e-paper bound book for storytelling, and an Augmented Reality (AR) ‘Magnifying Glass’. Opus allows for richer conversation between parent and child during storytime. Stories are used to encourage imagination and dialog about the child's day. The children collect objects during the day with a magnifying glass, these objects show up in the book later that night, where the parent can inquire about them and bring them into the story.
