Semantics of 3D Form
Conner Harden
This project for the first year studio course was focused on creating 3D forms; both organic and man-made. Students were given a sea shell of sorts, instructed to select a specific computer mouse of our choosing, as well as given the opportunity to explore ergonomic hand-held forms. The task was to build a foam, clay, and paper rendition of each of the three objects, practicing craftsmanship and great attention to detail in form construction.
