“What inspires me as a design student at Carnegie Mellon?” Hanington’s students started from this premise to design tri-fold cards that express the individuality of the student designer. The cards were then sent out to prospective high school students as well as to students attending portfolio reviews. Each student designed their card to visually describe their experience as a Carnegie Mellon Design student to date.

The finished pieces were sized as tri-fold cards that are 4”x6”. Student titles are spelled, capitalized, and punctuated as in the original works. The images that you will see here as the default view are only one section of the student’s work. Click “View larger image” to see the entire card.
