In this project, design sophomores studying design and social changed partnered with the top regional supermarket retailer Giant Eagle, Inc. to create posters that would encourage shoppers to bring reusable bags when they go grocery shopping. Sixteen of the posters were selected for production and display across the grocer’s stores in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. See the related news story. The project was timed to coincide with Earth Day 2008.
