Returning to the fundamental building blocks of artmaking, Elemental Forms delves into the intrinsic power found within simplicity of shape, line, color, and form. Drawing inspiration from the world around them, artists AJ Collins, the School of Design's Mark Mentzer, and Chris Ross master diverse mediums to explore the boundless versatility of the elements of art.

Each work of art is a unique creation created by hand, yet collectively they underscore the importance of these elemental components. The essence of each piece lies within the harmonious interplay of the elements, as each piece is simply a different arrangement of shapes, lines, colors, and forms.

Elemental Forms celebrates the timelessness of the basic elements of art, reminding us that they are not mere building blocks, but rather the very foundation upon which creativity flourishes. In a world saturated with visual stimuli, this exhibition serves as a reminder of the enduring significance of the elements, omnipresent yet often overlooked.
